Admin/Clerical

Background information

I have been in the admin/clerical field for the last 8 years. I have worked for the City of Detroit in two different departments. In both departments I was asked to troubleshoot the copiers, fax machines and telephones aside from my everyday job duties.

The first department was the Detroit Zoo where I worked in the business office. Here I did a variety of assignents. I filed, typed, daily/monthly/weekly reports, counted cash, greeted guest, sorted the mail, accounts payable, accounts receiable and more.

The second department was the Detroit Vital Records. Here I was a supervisor. I did reports, answered telephones, attended meetings, timesheets, disciplinary action, interviews and more.
