"In the inaugural meeting of Agile Austin, we learn that revolutions can be bloody. Some will thrive and some will die. Agile implementation in a company with deep roots in ad hoc and waterfall traditions is nothing less than revolution. Some say transition can be evolutionary, but in our experience this doesn't describe the radical cultural, mental and behavioral transformations that have to take place across an organization.
