"The door64 event was a great success for Freescale. It allowed us to get great exposure at an incredibly affordable price. Matt took care of arranging the place, food, etc. We just needed to bring banners and our people. It was a great occasion and we ended up hiring two engineers in addition of having an excellent networking experience."
"As a co-sponsor of a Door64 Happy Hour event, I want to say thank you for a great opportunity to get to know our own Austin tech community and grow our business. Even if we hadn't met people who want our services, it still would have been fun. We had a great time, and some of the leads materialized into new business for us. Meeting people in a casual business atmosphere is a great idea; we are ready for the next one."
"The door64 Tech Fair was a blast. SmartBear got a ton of press as a result, and we received some great resumes too. We were impressed with everything! Nice work."
"For TalentOnCampus, the door64 Tech Fair was more than an opportunity to meet other individuals and companies in the IT community. We connected with two College Career Centers that are interested in using our site to extend their campus recruiting programs. We have followed up with both organizations since the Tech Fair and the relationship is developing nicely. Thanks to door64.com for this unique opportunity."
"Thanks a lot for a great door64 Tech Fair. I enjoyed all the presentations and met some interesting and potentially valuable contacts. I was impressed with the smooth administration, and I especially appreciated your personal touch at making everyone feel welcome."

"At Dillotronics we consider ourselves lucky to have door64 working for us. Since we're growing our business organically, we're very concerned about bang for the buck; and there aren't many places you can get so much exposure for so little invested. At this year's door64 Tech Fair we were pleasantly surprised by the number of folks who knew who we were and what we were offering, thanks to the advanced buzz given to us on the web. And we're currently inking a deal with a sales representative who saw our appearance there with a viable demo as a strong indicator of our technological credibility."
"Matt, thank you for bringing together the door64 Tech Fair. I know the community within the technology field are grateful for your hard work and sacrifice. As a company who participated in the Tech Fair, I found it to be a great event that not only allowed us to get exposure, but allowed us to meet such great and talented people. I look forward to the next event."
"Bravo! Job well done! The door64 Tech Fair was impressive and very well organized. Thank you for your service to the community. It was great exposure for high-tech and for Goodwill."

"I wanted to pass on my appreciation to you for all you did with the Tech Fair yesterday. It was really well organized and professional. I had my doubts never having been at this Goodwill location but it was really perfect for the event. I have to say it was disheartening to see that many engineers out of work in one place but all seemed to appreciate the event. The sessions and panel discussions were right on topic and also well received. Congratulations to you and thanks for a great event!"
"Thank you so much for putting on the door64 Tech Fair. I learned a lot about entrepreneurs and the upcoming tech scene. I may not be a 'techie', but I hope to stay in touch with the program as I look for partners in bringing financial education to the public through software and open source programs.
The event went wonderfully: the presenters were well versed and ready to offer real advice and assistance, the coffee drinks were fantastic, and I believe it was an uplifting environment for all.
Thanks for the energy rush and opportunity to meet these wonderful people!"
"After attending the door64 Tech Fair I just wanted you to know that it was outstanding. I know a lot of effort went into this event. It was a very good showing for our local companies with enthusiasm. I think the turn out in such numbers was probably greater than expected considering the large number of attendees.
...Again an excellent job on your part. Thanks for the opportunnity to attend."
"door64 has become my portal during my job search. I check the calendar on Monday to plan my week. If an event isn't there, I'm likely to miss it...
I check the job list daily, and keep up with the forums and blog. door64 is THE hub for tech activities in Austin."

"Matt, thank you so much for door64.com! I joined up and searched skill sets, and quickly found an awesome, high-level developer that I was able to place! It was so easy to find & contact him, thanks to the site. I really appreciate your hard work, and I look forward to the next networking event!"
"I recently posted an opening we have for an Account Executive / Field Sales position in the Austin / San Antonio market on door64.com. I can honestly say that I was elated to see the true depth and experience that virtually all of the people that contacted me about it possessed – what an outstanding site! Rest assured I will utilize Matt and his wonderful site again and look forward to doing so."
"Matt, I just wanted to let you know that due to your network event on March 27th at J Blacks, I met a many recruiters, but one in particular was looking for someone with my specific management background and passion. Through a series of events, the person previously placed at the company he was representing suddenly left after 6 weeks. This recruiter acted quickly and professionally to get my resume to the hiring manager within a day of notification of the vacancy. After 4 interviews with the company executives, I will start my new job at as the Director of Software Development for their software division on June 16, 2008.
I would like to point out that this was the only networking event I have been able to attend during my 7.5 month job search. So Door64 and I are batting 100% for efficiency and effectiveness. Matt, thank you for the time and energy that you put into the Hi-Tech community. This is the first job I have ever gotten through a recruiter...and this gentleman and his partner are truly professional and proactive in their support for their clients, and those of us trying to find our next role. That in itself is testimony of the quality of people that Door64 attracts to networking events.
Thank you Matt."

"door64 is where it all happens. When I first stumbled across this site, I knew it was a great community. The idea in itself was great, but to pull it off with the kind of success took dedication and a drive!
When I first came onto the site, I was more interested in networking with local techies, and what I found was a new career! Thanks to door64 I now have a great new career and I truly believe that I would have never had this particular opportunity if it was not for this community! Now it is my turn to give back what I can!"
"I wanted to let you know that the door64 website has been really helpful in locating positions and openings for some of the ACC Computer Studies students. While there are not enough entry-level jobs anywhere, at least three students have found either an internship opportunity or a full-time job over the recent months by following up on postings on the site.
At the same time, I have made contact with no fewer than half a dozen people in the high tech community here in Austin. These contacts have been interviewing in some cases, reviewing resumes and again, have made offers to at least one ACC student. Three of the contacts came about as a direct result of the Happy Hour that you sponsored in January!"

"I wanted to let you know that I got a very relevant job interview at my first door64 event. I bumped into a person I went to college with, who was working at a company that I had not really considered in my job search. He volunteered to take my resume, and I didn't expect much to come of it. But as luck would have it, the company was considering opening up a position for someone with my background, and I got a call from HR the next week. I ended up doing a formal interview the following week, for a job that was not even posted. I'm definitely a convert to the door64 networking events. I also re-connected with a former co-worker, and on top of that, the food was pretty good, too."
"Thank you for the opportunity to post upcoming events that I feel could benefit door64 members. I have already seen interest in our IT and Project Management courses from people I may not otherwise been able to inform. Your site is great. Keep up the good work!"

"When I first arrived [at the happy hour], being a first timer, I saw the crowd and was a little nervous; but, after taking a closer look I noticed everyone was smiling, laughing and just having a good time. So I went in, it turned out to be an excellent venue for make contacts and meeting people in the same type industry. As a result, I have made several new contacts and am meeting with a recruiter next week.
Thank you for all your work in making this the best venue I have been to in a very long time."
